From Manila, you can reach Palawan by ferry and by plane. Palawan is easily accessible to international travellers via the main airport in Puerto Princesa, the provincial capital located on Palawan island. There are also two smaller airports, one further north on Palawan, El Nido and YKR Airport on Busuanga island. Additionally, Sandoval Airport (30km north of Taytay) provides an alternate entry point for northern Palawan.
Philippine Airlines has regular flights to the capital, Puerto Princesa. Seair flies to Busuanga, Coron, and El Nido three times a week. Island Trans-Voyager Inc flies to El Nido twice daily.
