Comment: People who live in Palawan, please take good care of your place. As a nature conservationist, I can say that you've got the most blessful place. We may have the big buildings and malls and other establishments, but you've got God's creation, the reefs, the rainforests and endangered creatures. Love your place more than we do. Palawan is the best sanctuary left in whole nation. Thanks for this freedom site to express ourselves. Peace! P.S. i hope you'll pose this, my father worked in Palawan. I hope he can read this. This is for him and the people in Palawan. Thank you --- ced vivien torres
wrote: Yes palawan is an awesome place! I hope everybody works together to protect the place from modernization and conserve the beautiful marine paradise. I hope the road that was built when I was there would not be finished:-P so that it will keep away tourist! El Nido is the best and the norther part I have yet to visit. Greetings
I was just reading your homepage at palawan.com can you delete the phrase where it says there is alot of garbage in El Nido town. I agree there is, but but I don't think you need it on your home page. I'm trying to promote El Nido, Palawan, it doesn't help my cause, unless you are trying to get attention from government. If so tell them to expedite thier cleanup of El Nido town proper asap. Plus get the electricity working 24/7 they are still living in the 60s. Good Luck Tony (Echavez) Name: Nick Guthrie

I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Puerto Princesa in 1965-67 and hope to get in contact with anyone in the family of Sonny and Zeny Mendoza (they ran the movie theater opposit the post office) or the family of Dr. Teogenes and Lucy Alfonso (they ran their private Hospital). Perhaps their son George is running it now. If you know an email address, or mailing address, or phone number for any of them, please reply. Monday - Mar 12, 2007 (07:52 PM)

Message: I was in El Nido and Sabang just this past May 2007. I was in El Nido before in February 2005. NEITHER time, did I find that it was full of garbage. The streets are very clean. In fact, I DID NOT see garbage on the street or in the gutters. However, the waters of El Nido's beach are becoming a little polluted nowadays, due to a great deal of development that occurred in the two years between my visits. But the islands and beaches surrounding El Nido are still priceless treasures: clean and beautiful. El Nido is still a good starting point for side trips to the surrounding islands. It is getting busier and more crowded because it's getting more and more well-known. But if you're looking for a quiet beach to relax on, there are thousands of other WONDERFUL places to go in the Philippines. Tuesday - Jul 24, 2007 (06:26 AM)

I am trying to locate the contact information for a restaurant owned by Rene Sabio. I believe it is located near the Puerto Princesa airport. Hope you can help.
