Hi Giovanni,
I'm a photographer from the US whose work have been used by Philips Electronics North America and WOW Philippines. This email is about the marketing material for Palawan resorts. I'm a proponent of tourism here in the Philippines. It's good to see there are many promotional materials found on the 'net for people to see. One aspect I see that could use improvement though, in my opinion, is the quality of images that are found on websites. Although some are first-class such as those I've seen for Amanpulo, most others could really use some improvement especially if we are to compete with other world-class destinations in the Asia Pacific region. If you know how I can assist in providing more photography, please let me know. I normally charge $250/hour in a photo session back in the US but since travel photos at the Philippines' best resorts is of personal interest as well, I may be willing to waive those fees provided the travel and accommodations are taken cared of by the resorts. Here are sample photos in my online photo gallery: Travel-related galleries: http://www.pbase.com/ericrosales/napa http://www.pbase.com/ericrosales/palawan http://www.pbase.com/ericrosales/maui http://www.pbase.com/ericrosales/new_york_city_sights http://www.pbase.com/ericrosales/interiors I'll hear from you soon? Dear friends @Palawan.com,
Mabuhay! Dante Nico Garcia and Judy Ann Santos, together with Ryan Agoncillo, are now en route to Paris, France to grace the July 5 screening of PLONING at the historic Balzac Theater, as part of the Paris Cinema Festival (www.pariscinema.org). A number of Filipino films and their respective filmmakers from the mainstream and indie sectors will likewise represent the country as the festival focuses on the Philippines as this year's "country of honor" - for “its new generation of filmmakers and [a body of work] filled with energy and audacity.” In this regard, please invite your family and friends in Paris and around Europe to support PLONING and the other Filipino films that are now being showcased in the festival! Panoramanila thanks the Film Development Council of the Philippines for sponsoring Dante and Juday, plus Kodak Philippines for it support. Amblig! All the best, PANORAMANILA PICTURES CO. www.ploningthemovie.com Please read : http://showbizandstyle.inquirer.net/entertainment/entertainment/view/20080701-145871/RP-is-country-of-honor-in-Paris-Cinema-Festival Friday - Jul 04, 2008 (07:46 PM)
To Whom it may concern,
My name is Christine Pijpers and I am a 4th year student at the NHTV University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands and I study International Tourism Management and Consultancy. For one of our subjects: Sustainable Tourism we have to write a destination analysis about a region in the world. Me and my friend are doing this together and we selected Palawan, since she has been there already and was amazed by its beauty, and after reading about it it got my interest as well. For this analysis we need certain information which we were unable to find. Therefore I am sending you an email with the request of providing the missing information for our research. We have found plenty of information on a national level but not on a regional level. Below you will find our questions and we really hope that you can help us by answering them: Market analysis: - Amount of visitors to Palawan ( international and national, number of arrivals) - The country of origin of the visitors/tourists ( where do they come from) - The type of tourists that palawan focusses on - The type of tourists that palawan attracts ( eco, adventure, honeymoon??) - How long do the tourists stay in the Palawan region ( bednights, lenght of stay) - Purpose of visit ( expectations ) - Competitors - Impacts ( socio-cultural, environmental, economical) Supply analysis - Accommodation establishments, amount of rooms, capacity, occupancy rate and types of accomodation - Eating out facilities - Event facilities - Sport facilities - Shopping facilities - Tourism infrastructure, transportation, hospitals, internetcafés etc. We really hope you can help us by sending any information ( regarding the above ) to us by email. Thank you very much in advance! kind regards, Christine Pijpers travel_junkie11@hotmail.com Sunday - Sep 28, 2008 (09:04 PM)
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a British medical student hoping to do an elective in Palawan. Could you possibly lend me any assistance. I've tried to get in touch with the Palawan Provinical Hospital by phone but having trouble. Would you be able to supply me with an email address to contact anyone at the hospital or at any other health establishments in Palawan island? Many thanks Hannah du Preez Monday - Oct 06, 2008 (04:39 AM)

Message: I love Palawan... They really take care of the corals and everything. There are also spots where you can't jet ski because it might break the corals, there are also spots that they have to turn off the boats engine so the waters won't be disturbed... I LOVE IT THERE!!! I'll keep coming back!!! Sunday - Mar 15, 2009 (10:42 PM)
Got something to say about Palawan?
